Base Coat
The Base Coat is an essential base layer that protects the natural nail and improves the adhesion of gels or semi-permanent varnishes. It creates a barrier between the nail and the colored products, reducing the risk of discoloration or damage to the nail surface. In addition to promoting better fixation of the color layers, the Base Coat smoothes the surface of the nail, corrects irregularities and allows for a more uniform finish. It thus prepares the nail plate for a more professional and durable final result. After application, it is necessary to catalyze under UV lamp for 60 seconds to fix the base coat before adding colors or designs.
How to apply the Base Coat:
- Make sure the nail is clean, prepped and that the primer and ultra bonding have been properly applied and dried.
- Take a small amount of Base Coat with the brush.
- Apply a thin, even coat over the entire nail surface, being careful not to touch the cuticles or surrounding skin.
- Cure under a UV lamp for 60 seconds.
For optimal hold and to avoid allergic reactions, be careful not to touch the cuticles with any of the products. This ensures better adhesion and protects the skin from irritation. Take your time with each step for a perfect and long-lasting result!
